I don’t think we could do without the Bad Debts / Collection Agency Tracking module for the management of bad debt. It’s probably one of the most helpful modules outside normal AR for controlling bad debt.

It gives us a method of accounting for bad debt balances once we have written them off the AR. If an account has gone to a collection agency, we can post payments against the bad debt amount and keep a running balance on that account.

It’s added a lot more efficiency to the collection process. And it’s very easy to know our percentages – how much we’ve collected and how much has been written off to bad debt.

It also gives us a good way to track the performance of our collection agencies.

The insurance, billing and electronic claims submissions have improved payment of claims. It’s quicker payment and more efficient. The program is so user-friendly and intuitive that staff time is really minimal doing procedures on it.
